Exclusive meibography

The exclusive eyelid everter of C.Diag® adds the ability to quantify and qualify the Meibomian Gland Dysfunction.

C.DIAG brings an advanced technology by integrating an eyelid everter with transillumination infrared light to get 2 images in one click:
- Meibography in standard infrared to quantify the glands
- Meibography in transillumination infrared to evaluate the functionality of the glands

Its new feature of transillumination adds to the meibography the ability to obtain the best images for the function of glands, clearly defining their obstruction, accumulation of meibum and the telangiectasias that surround them.

The C.Diag® platform is very useful, especially for screening preoperative cataract or refractive surgery or for glaucoma patients, in order to prescribe preventive treatment. In addition, as part of an "assisted" consultation, examinations can easily be carried out by an orthoptist/optometrist. The C.Diag® platform brings together the essential examinations for dry eye diagnostic: meniscometry, NIBUT, meibography with direct infrared illumination and retroillumination, and interferometry.
